I made the Shelly's Chocolate Caramel Protein Ice Cream and it was quite good. Much better than I expected. I mixed mine in an old manual ice cream maker that looks a lot like the one she used in the blog. I would make it again.

Cool. I wonder how those recipes would work using a Magic Bullet. I'm actually thinking about buying one of those contraptions. I just broke another blender trying to make a smoothie. So irritating. Hopefully the Magic Bullet is stronger....*LOL*.

The Magic Bullet has no on/off switch? That's weak.

The original owner of coldstone was a major contributor of the anti-gay prop 102 in Arizona. He does not own coldstone any more but still continues to make money off them and does work for them.

No, you turn it on/off by pressing down on it to turn it on then releasing to turn it off. Not sure why she was pressing down, then plugged it in, then unplugged to turn it off.

Amen and hallelujah! go for Talenti Gelato. IMO, much better than ice cream, but not as much fat.

I wouldn't call that homemade ice cream either.
It's just a protein shake with ice in it basically.

Also what is her deal? She plugged it directly into the wall to turn it on. That's an electrical appliance "no-no" right there.

Needs some flavor. Instead of water use skim/soy milk. Add your favorite furit or cocoa and your favorite sweetner and maybe a touch of vanilla.

That made me think of an episode of Paula Dean that I just saw where she made " Ice Cream" by folding condensed milk and vanilla into a bowl of snow. LOL

I still wanna know where she got snow in Savannah.
