Ok so this is no intelligent discussion, it's just a "oh, cool, just wanns know" forum.

Topic: Who have you seen in concert, and then who would you want to see in concert.(live, no TV or DVD shit)

Seen: Madonna, Nine Inch Nails, Gym Class Heroes.

Want to see: Kylie Minogue, Sade, A Perfect Circle/ Tool, Jennifer Lopez, Belanova, Bjork, and Madonna(again).

I'll be back to put more up, but now....your turn.

Like concerts a lot, so have seen a variety...Fleetwood Mac, Tim McGraw, ZZ Top back in the day, Shania Twain, and just saw The Killers a few weeks ago. Live music is the best no matter what genre.

Hah. So many that I can't possibly recall them. (Because I am an old fart, lol.) But very few groups actually sound good in an arena or stadium venue. Most just put out a wall of over-amped noise, even if they are sober. The spectacle is the entertainment, not the music. Especially at the summer festivals.

Groups that I can remember actually sounding good in concert include: The Police, REM, Laurie Anderson, Blue Oyster Cult.

One of the best concerts that I ever went to was by an obscure 70's jazz-fusion group called, I think, Matrix9. It was a dark and stormy night, and so few people showed up that the band looked around and said, "why don't you guys just come up and sit on the stage."

The next band I want to go see is some group that I've never heard of, that someone drags me to go see, and turns out to make me want to go out and buy their albums.

Groups that I would see again in a heart beat:
Bjork, Madonna, Pet Shop Boys, Annie Lennox, Goldfrapp

Groups that I would probably see again:
Barbra Streisand, Shania Twain, Jo Dee Messina, Cyndi Lauper

Groups that I want to see:
Beck, Brazilian Girls, Moby, Seal, Rufus Wainwright, Tracey Thorn, Cortey Tidwell, Brian Eno

Groups that I wish that I could have seen:
Beatles, early Eurythmics, early Massive Attack, early Anything Box, Prefab Sprout, Thomas Dolby, October Project, early Grace Jones, Culture Club, New Order, 808 State, Dream Academy

I am seeing the True Color concert next month so I'll finally see Rufus Wainwright.

    Biggest Surprise Concert:
One of my co-workers dragged all of us off to a concert while we were in Miami for a conference several years ago. He said that the group was called Kinky and that we would like it. I was like 'yeah right' thinking that it's some girl band - no way. Boy was I completely wrong. The concert was amazing! Kinky was a very cool Mexican pop-rock-latin fusion band. I ran out and brought their self-titled album after the trip. It's fun to tell people to 'get Kinky'. LOL!

Franko - saw Groove Armada at a festival here in Ireland last summer, they rocked!! Always considered Kylie a bit of a poor man's Madonna in terms of live shows but had such a good time at her gig - so much fun.

Excuse me? Kylie is b> compared to Madge. She's tried so hard to imitate her and it still hasn't worked. She might be the Madge of Australia, but that's about it. Sorry, Madonna is the SHIT lol.

Madonna: la Reina de la Pista de Baile

    Where's the party?
I want to free my soul
    Where's the party?
    I want to lose control...
