That's a sure recipe for absolutely no positive results!

Well, I'm sure there must be a 2x3 spot in your room.

Try some burpees, jump squats, wall sits, push ups, and some ab work.

There you have a quickie workout.icon_cool.gif

sounds like your body can use the rest. eat some really nutritional foods that will help your body harmonize, and it'll be worth the skip. rest is just as important as working out.

That's actually a good thing. Your body needs rest so it can heal itself. Results take a while to show (sometimes months) so be patient and stay relaxed. In fact, skipping two days between each workout can speed up the results, if each workout is intense.

What's a burpee? If it's what I think it is, I burp enough without forcing them. icon_razz.gif

The Y is the only gym within an hour of here. Not complaining, though, because I actually like it. I like it because so far I'm the most ripped person I've seen in there...srsly. in fact, the flight instructor I'm crushing on at work is more ripped than the dudes at the gym. icon_lol.gif

That reminds me...I haven't ordered a pizza here yet. I need to do that tonight to see if the delivery guys are hot.

due to work and stuff I didn't go to the gym for 3 months.
But it actually gave me time to concentrate on eating better and I trimed down from my winter pouce so it will actually pay off more now the next couple months.

A burpee is full-body motion that is great for cardiovascular conditioning.

Just a few consecutive burpees are enough to make you want to hurl.

I totally understand how you feel when your structure regarding exercise is broken.. but I doubt (and it may even be positive) that your body is going into decline by missing a day. My suggestion: Do something unrelated at home and mix it up, maybe cardio based. Life doesn't have to follow a script every time.

Right as I walked in the door to my gym one recent Wednesday, the power went out (lightning). I barely got started before they made us all stay in the area lit by sunlight (meaning no freeweights and no abs). Of course I did not like it, but what can you do?

100% aloe gel is a miracle product for sunburn (among other things as well). It relieves the burn and speeds healing rapidly. HIGHLY recommended.

Well forgive me for feeling slightly discouraged after three years of limiting my diet, lifting weight which I can control, not rocking my body while performing bicep curls, lifting my ass off the seat when doing seated cable pulldowns, and not staying in gym for more than one hour (because all the 'pro' recommend it.) I am truly sorry that I made you go through the trouble of quoting my text, bolding the end and typing a response. ...If positive thinking is all that was required than I'm sure the majority of people at my gym and every gym would be crawling with Schwarzeneggers.
