Your body is pissing out the protein it can't metabolize, along with the calories that accompany it. Find other ways of adding calories and your weight should start increasing again.

Disclaimer: I'm not 100% sure of that, but it sounds like a logical explanation.

How much weight did you lose? I lost 5 lbs in the past year or so. But when I look in the mirror, it doesn't seem like it. I'm guessing I dropped some fat and some extra water. Maybe the same happened to you?

I suppose it all depends on your goals.. quantity versus quality. I think you look fine. Toss the scale. Unless you're competing for sport, your weight isn't that important. When I tell people that I weigh ~170 lbs, they're a little surprised and think that I weigh more than that.

    LOL.

What happens it that your metabolism actually speeds up as you up your activity level and calories. In bodybuilding parlance, it's called stoking the furnace, and any muscle head in the know knows about it.

Put some more fat into your diet. Mono and tris if you can. Keep eating.

When I train for a show, I bring my calories UP, as I bring up my workout to get leaned out. I found I had my best results with intense activity and a high calorie / low fat diet around 4500 to 5500 calories a day.

It's all about understanding The Human Machine.

Lostboy is a wonderful fan of mine. It's so great to always have him giving me so much attention. It's flattering, although he behaves a bit like a stalker, and certainly not in a mature way. (He's a bit obsessed with me as you can see by his many posts. LOL.) I think it's funny how he makes himself look so stupid.

Oh, yeah, and now...you've learned about metabolic activation. :-)
