You can do what southbeach suggested or consider building one yourself. I built my computers and it's much cheaper for me and they out perform ones you get retail.

If you don't know anything about building one, you can find how-to guides on the web.

Newegg.com has been the source of all my hardware, and the reviews are usually reliable.

Or consider buying a Mac and installing Windows 7 with Bootcamp. That's another option that's available.

I'm not willing to pay total strangers to meet all of my computer needs for me at all.i would rather find myself gay single male friends who are willing
to meet my computer needs for free, buddy love, gay sex, male bonding & my
friendship than pay strangers to help me out with my computer needs any
    day.

For what you want I don't think sex should even come into it. Your better off finding someone with a genuine interest in computers rather that a gay nerd. While it may be nice and fulfill personal fantasies it's not realistic, and I hate to say your setting yourself up for a hard fall.

Your best bet is to let some hangups go either A)Post an ad on craigslist requesting help from someone local if you aren't willing to take a cab and such or B) Get out of LaLa land and goto BestBuy and ask a salesperson who can asses your needs.

Sounds to me like you're trying to use the "I need a computer" thing as an excuse to get a guy to come over and make hot passionate love with you.

Sorry, that's not going to happen. Computer nerds are all virgins.

I've only owned 2 windows based computers, and both of them were HPs and I loved them. I work in an office with 25 customized piece of shit Dell computers and I'd rather punch myself in the face than ever suggest that someone buy them. They're not dependable, they're customer service sucks, and I've had 5 computers require new motherboards shortly after having simple things serviced.

Not referring to you paying anyone, I was meaning your chance are slim or meeting what you think is ideal "i would rather find myself gay single male friends who are willing to meet my computer needs for free, buddy love, gay sex, male bonding & my friendship than pay strangers to help me out with my computer needs any day."

I think unless they got to know you which takes time over anything. This is going to be hard to find out the blue.

As a computer nerd I'd be pretty pissed if someone made nice with me just so they could get free tech support. Add your interest of having sex with the person on top of that and honey, you just set off a powder keg.

Build your own. It'll save you money, you'll get more inside your case, and you can choose exactly what features you want your machine to have (ie, if you're just going to use it for the internet/email/facebook games, you won't need a lot of RAM or a beefy video card.).

I use Tiger Direct for my computer shopping, but as has been said Newegg is a great store too.
