Here's a general rule you should apply to your online behavior: if you would not, and, should not, do it in a public venue, then, don't be an idiot by doing it online.
Understand, EVERYTHING on The Internet is just a data stream. It's that VERY SIMPLE. Data streams can be recorded, and re-distributed.
That's the obvious answer to what any clear-thinking person should realize.
Once something has been broadcast to The Internet, you've lost any control, imagined, or otherwise. That's the facts of the technology.
Don't have to be a Rhodes Scholar to know this stuff; just have to think for 10 seconds.
