So far I been doing a 3 day split, but since it's summer and I have more free time I'm thinking about a 5 day split. I just wanted to get you opinions on the 5 day split.

    5 Day Split
    Monday- Chest and Triceps
    Tuesday- Back and Biceps
    Wednesday- Legs and Shoulders
    Thursday- Chest and Triceps
    Friday- Legs and Biceps

BTW this is my current 3 day split

    Monday- Chest and Triceps
    Wednesday- Legs and Shoulder
    Friday- Biceps and Back

    My routine is

    Day 1- chest and triceps
    Day 2- Legs and abs
    Day 3- Back and biceps
    Day 4- Shoulders and abs
    Day 5- off
    Day 6- repeat

Ive been doing this routine for quite a while and i'm still making gains, so I like to think its a solid routine

It actually looks pretty dang good. But think. If you have the time why not get a second shoulder and back day on saturday. Or do the first three days and then repeat them for a total of 6 workouts.

You kids and your 5 day splits. Why back in my day we only had three day splits. We were too busy with the recent invention of the wheel and fire to do any of this fancy 5 day shit.

Day 1 - Chest and various supersets with biceps and triceps then HIIT

Day 2 - Back and shoulders then HIIT

Day 3 - Heavy legs followed by HIIT

Off Day - Crying because it hurts to move anything below my waist, but I try and do a half hour of cardio to work the pain out of my legs anyway.

    Repeat.
