Is there actually something good to say for a change?

Sometimes I wonder how many people count their blessings in life, instead of always being pissed off at what they can't obtain in life. Life isn't perfect and it sure isn't without its aches and pains. However, there has to be something good to say. So, what's something good about your life?

I'm in the best shape that I've ever been in. Even though my cat Hart, whom I loved very much, was killed in the beginning of the year, I now have 7 awesome little kittens to look after and train. I have a family that loves me and friends that are like my second family. Even though things can be rough, I'm still blessed and I don't forget that.

I have the coolest job (and one of the most unusual) in the world.
I have friends who are just as crass and smartass-ish as me.
I've defied genetics by getting this formerly flabby physique back into shape.
All my bills are paid, food is abundant, and sometimes there's a little $$$ left over to save and have fun.
I get laid every once in a while.

I had a coffee today.. Actually I had two.. They where good coffees... That made me happy.

I also got put on antibiotics for my throat... This to is good because I'm going away for a night with someone on Monday and I need to be well.. So.. This is good too..

I've been offered an interesting business opportunity although I don't be leave I will take it, it is a potentially good source of income for someone.. But not for me, my days of the persute of money are over I've a much more simple life now..

Those coffees really are good.. Also.. I've a new place to go get some work done, I've a big desk, a nice chair and coffee is only two minutes away, this makes me happy...

I'm seeing a guy, it's all just very casual, but, he is helping me immensely in ways I've yet to fully come to appreciate yet... He is without a doubt the most enjoyable part of life right now, it has been a while since i have felt excitement and joy of this type and although not intense it certainly is awesome, plus, he likes coffee!

Tomorrow, I get to have more coffee... Totally can't wait!

Look, I'm not up for making a gratitude list right now.... I just found out that I didn't get picked for a job that I really wanted. I kinda wanna stir in it for a bit so that I can move on. But I know the importance of counting my blessings, so I will do so eventually with more zeal than I have right now. As for right now, I'm just grateful I am sober, that I have my health, that there is food in my tummy and that I know deep down where it truly counts that I do not suck as a human being because of this rejection.

My roomates are my best friends and the most inspiring people in the world. I have a family that supports all my crazy goals and ambitions. I am actively involved in my art and make money doing it. I will be the first in my family to graduate college this december.

There really are so many things to be thankful for.

There are few things that make either one of us feel as great as when we make a difference in someone else's life.

See guys? No matter how hard life can be, there is always something good in it at the same time. Even if things don't go your way sometimes, keep a little faith in yourself, so you have the energy to keep going. Believing in yourself is so important icon_smile.gif

    I have a wicked family.

I've set goals and am working hard towards them, however distant and lofty they may be.

I had a religious-like experience at an LCD Soundsystem concert three weeks ago. James Murphy is amazing.

My plan for next year may have just been completely muddled up, but I'm confident that, in the end, it will all work out.

I am about to eat strawberries.
