Prop 8 is an anti-gay law endorsed by California Republicans and right-wingers. How many Republicans and right-wingers on RJ support their counterparts in California?

Or do they break with party solidarity? And if they do, how do they support any candidates who support the Republican party platform? If you vote Republican, do you not support anti-gay measures?

As we've seen over the last 18 months, Republicans in Congress are the party of "NO" who vote 100% in unison against social issues, including anything that would benefit gays. After all, it's all about "special interests" right?

If you do support Republicans, what is your justification? How do you, as a gay man, rationalize the fact that Republican policy is 100% anti-gay? Are you not gay yourself, or are your interests so selfish that you care only about yourself, and about no other gay men?

I would love to hear how any gay man could rationalize his support for homophobic US Republicans. But I assume some will try...
