I've done the research and read alot of articles and Im wondering if maybe I can find some advice here as well. So I have lost a bunch of weight and I only have a little more to go. But I cant seem, to get rid of the fat around my lower stomach, like right at my belly button. My upper abs are coming through. I'm wondering if this is a case of lose skin or if it is still a little fat?

    Lipo

Or just continue the weight loss routine and be patient. The last few inches are always the worst for those of us who suffer from flabbyab syndrome.

Leg lifts seemed to help me when I tried to get rid of that little soft spot below the belly button. The you can work up to jackknives which might help also.

You're seriously suggesting plastic surgery? Does that even work?

That's what I'm going to end up doing sometime next year once I completely plateau.
It's fairly inexpensive and convenient, compared to the dieting and pills it would take to do it naturally.
But I wouldn't suggest it for someone who's not planning on maintaining them once they're there.

Without knowing you personally it's hard to say if this is just the last bit of "stubborn" fat. My opinion would be to 'change it up a bit'...that is your work out routine. Your body adapts to work outs and at some point will plateau. You want to get a big bang for your buck, so if your looking to lean up a bit more, look into circuit training and "H.I.T." (high intensity training). You will burn calories more efficiently doing these work outs as opposed to other cardio or weight work outs, plus your 'afterburn' is at a higher rate after these types of work outs. Let me know how it goes, good luck!

Work hard and you will get your desired results; the midsection is the last place to go! Try some HIIT exercises, maybe a clensing routine as well.

Some people may have aspirations of a career or partial career (2nd income) with their physique. From a business perspective, it may be more cost effective and productive for some people to have lipo.

Other than career purposes, I wouldn't suggest lipo; but people are free to choose. I'm not going to hold it against those who do. Well, I might hold my hands against them. That would be hot. icon_biggrin.gif

From what I've seen/experienced/read/heard ... I'm afraid lipo often is the only option.

Unless you're happy to lose muscle/fat in other areas of your body (where it's actually desireable).

    All about genetics.

Try a seriously rigorous diet/training schedule to see if that works and if it doesn't ... you'll have to disagree with God and give yourself the body he didn't.

Just make sure you're absolutely certain, first, that this isn't a problem that can't be solved by natural means.

It might point to a slight glandular problem, ask your doctor to run a few more tests on your testosterone levels and thyroid.

Young guys tend to try a lot of things and I've heard that some prohormones can prematurely shutdown normal hormone responses and do wacky things with your blood sugar.. which tends to be processed just like alcohol and deposited there.. so it doesn't help much if your trying to break abs while fighting a beer binge without the buzz.

Same thing can occur with stress and sleep deprivation. from 15 to 25 get as much sleep as possible, that its don't miss any.. your body is still forming.
