I found this link today: http://lifestyle.ca.msn.com/health-fitness/diet/rodale-article.aspx?cp-documentid=24084795

I can't help but feel that it's LACK OF EXERCISE and POOR DIET that keeps fat people fat or fatter people fatter, whatever the case may be. I've never been overweight so I don't know what it's like to lose 20% of my body weight but I can't imagine you'd feel better with more weight on than off (esp if those extra pounds put you in the overweight category).

Even when I gain 5 extra pounds I feel sluggish, I always feel better when they're gone.

I know this was from Woman's Health, but I figure it applies to men too.

    What'd you guys think?

Being "slightly" overweight (like around 20 pounds or less, depending on height) is not unhealthy at all. I've known that for a long time.
But yes, I agree that being overweight "feels" terrible and makes me sluggish.
