Worked out my abs to much?

    This past Saturday I worked out with my friend and we did a pretty intense ab workout. Now its been two days and I still have this strange pain (not a sore muscle feeling, more like a I'm-so-full-it-hurts feeling) when I touch my stomach and I've had no appetite. Is it possible to overwork your abs to the point where it effects your digestive system? icon_neutral.gif

    not exactly sure what you were doing - but it would be pretty impossible to damage your organs during an ab work out -

    although if its been two days and you still feel the same - i recommend you head to the doctor.

    what else did you eat? drink? that day?

    I had a mug root beer and chicken pesto pizza. I'm going to the doctor today. Watch it be a tape worm, ew icon_cry.gif

    Yikes, I hope not! Could it be a hernia? those are very painful too.

    I would go see a doctor, you may have tore your abdominal muscle couseing a abdominal herniation, which could couse intestinal blockage."your lack of appetite." just better to see doc. Good luck bro. keep me posted.

    And the winner is: Parasites. Turns out hiking and ATVing in beaver water AND not showering is a bad thing. I visited my friend in upstate CT where we spend the day on Saturday doing just that. Anyway, I've been out sick for two days BUT on meds since then and I'm doing much better.

    I haven't been to the gym since Saturday but I'm going tomorrow, thank god. I can just feel my muscles getting smaller. However, my abs look amazing- dehydration and barely eating worked their wonders icon_wink.gif
