Is there a good place to meet guys in Toronto. I never been to any gay bars or clubs. Where do I start? I'm completely new to this. Do I have to go at night? Cause I don't go downtown a lot and kind of don't want to go alone to downtown at night.

I visited Toronto last year (on Thanksgiving weekend of all weekends....icon_biggrin.gif). As long as you can get to Church Street, you're good. That's considered the gay section of Toronto.

Here's a website that might get you started. I think there are a couple posters, notably Crazycool that live in Toronto and may be able to provide even more insight.

OK, well, I was at Woody's and it seemed pretty fun. Men in flannel, cute too.

I'll be there in a few weeks.

You know, you're talking about Toronto, not Detroit or Newark.

I stay away from gay bars and whatnot as places to meet people for dating or friends. I just meet people on here. Decent number of Torontonians here.

Ok, so i decided to go visit Church street, but where in Church street should I go to meet people. The link gave some listing of restaurants and retail.

But what's a good place to meet people? Do I just go sit in a bench in a park? Maybe book stores? What a place where people will actually take time to talk to you?

I lived in Toronto all my life. Hate meeting guys at clubs. Except through friends of friends. I opt more for flirting with guys at coffee shops who sneak a peak. Also, University was a place where I met a LOT of other gay guys...Not so much when I started working full time in the industry... I usually go to the gym, work, then home (sometimes work still), so I don't have as much time as I used to. Plus I live in Ottawa now icon_smile.gif

And at this time in my life, I have all the gay friends I need, no more please, lol

I'm not out in university, so can't really meet guys there. Sucks, cause there's a lot of cute guys there.

Well maybe it time to start thinking about busting that closet open. University will probably be one of the best times of your life. It would be a shame if you had to go though that experience afraid of being true to yourself. Plus the university crowd tends to be the most accepting you'll ever encounter. Take a risk, join the local LGBT group!

    Cheers
