What is the ultimate song from a movie?

    My top 2:

"The End" by Harry Gregson-Williams for Man on Fire

"Death is the Road to Awe" by Clint Mansell from "The Fountain."

Gary Jules - Mad World (Donnie Darko Soundtrack)
It was the perfect song to concluded with.

Peter Gabriel and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Passion, from the soundtrack for Last Temptation of Christ.

There might have not been much else good from the movie, The Hunger, but at least there was this song.

Well, trying to keep it to things first heard in a movie (and so leaving out most songs in film versions of Broadway musicals), here are some great ones:

    "As Time Goes By"
    "Moon River"
    "Blues in the Night"
    "Two Sleepy People"
    "Over the Rainbow"
    "One for My Baby"
    "Baby, It's Cold Outside"
    "The Way You Look Tonight"
    "You'll Never Know"
"Let's Face the Music and Dance"
    "Long Ago and Far Away"
    "White Christmas"
"You'd Be So Nice to Come Home To"
    "Time After Time"
    "The Man That Got Away"
    "Moon River"

I'm sure I'm leaving out some great stuff.

Hard though it is to choose, I think I'd pick "Over the Rainbow," followed closely by "Let's Face the Music and Dance" and "The Way You Look Tonight."

"Where is my Mind" from the Pixes, it plays at the end of Fight Club. Also the music from Requiem for a Dream is good too.
