Whats some weird stuff or people you've seen in the gym shower/locker room. Peopleofwalmart.com comes to mind, haha.

I think the weirdest thing I saw was an old man that literally took him about 5 minutes just to walk from the locker room to the shower room and had a tube that came directly out of his chest and would just hang there while he was taking a shower. It totally grossed me out, but I had to give him his props...atleast he was there making an effort ya know?

In one of the gyms on older guy was running around naked or with a towel around his waist, showing off his colostomy bag. Always gave me a queasy feeling seeing him, but props to him for still being out and about.

Another gym of mine had a communal shower room, pretty small, just 6 or 8 heads and one day while I was showering a guy was standing in the middle of the room, his gym clothes still on, urinating into the room's drain. Nobody said anything and when he was done he left.

    Warning: Pretty gross experience ahead.

This was about 12 years ago, when I took my 3 year old cousin swimming at the local pool.

While I was bathing him in the communal showers, swimsuits still on, an older man, about 65+ came into the shower next to where we were.

Was busy trying to get a 3 year old clean as quickly as possible, when I heard grunting coming from the old man. My first reaction was that he was jerking off, but no, lo and behold, he had taken his swimsuit off and began taking a shit in the showers.

I was completely shocked, but even more shocked when he started to push his Mr. Hanky into the drain with his feet.icon_eek.gif

Got the hell out of there so quickly, told the attendant what happened, and he was just as grossed out as I was. Never went back ever again.

Today! For the love of god this happened today!!!

Went to gym, did my workout, etc. Went to the locker room to grab towel, etc. Before I made it to my locker I was hit with the rancid stench of BO. I looked around for the cause and then I saw him! Old naked guy, toweling his sweaty self down, though he evidently didn't believe in actual showering. The guy was actually working up a sweat as he was drying off, after which he pulled on clean clothes & left...

I was in a steam room a few years ago and this older guy (probably around 75) had a towel wrapped around him. Out from his towel his testicles hung all the way down to the floor! That's at least a foot!! All of us other dudes kinda looked at one another with a bit of a grimace ;)

After the work out, I went to sauna, and then I saw a guy with a cockring (who wears a cockring in the steam room of a gym?) and touching his balls in a suggestive but very disturbing way.

On occasion I like to sit in the dry sauna at my gym after working out. The last time I was heading in there some dude (I'd guess his age to be around 35-40) we pissing in the sauna. IN. THE. SAUNA.

I'll leave the smell up to everyone's imagination.

The wierdest thing that's ever happend to me is something I posted to a similar Forum thread. It's still hysterical. Here is the post:

Something interesting happened to me recently. I was alone in the steam room when I saw a middle-aged man in a wheelchair trying to open the door so he could come in. I went to the door to help him. Once inside, he struggled to get out of his wheelchair and sit on the tiled bench. The next thing I knew, he started singing Rogers and Hammerstein tunes. He wasn't singing to himself, he was belting them out. He knew that I was the only other person in the steam room. I was annoyed and decided to leave. On my way out, he says, "Now you don't have to go to the Dallas Summer Musicals. I've just sung all the songs you're going to hear".

True story. I remember thinking, "Did that just happen?"

After hearing some of these stories, I think I'll drive home and shower off in the comfort of my own house as well. The last several gyms I went to were hardly ever occupied. I have a feeling it won't be like that now that I've moved to a place with a population higher than 60k.

Walked into the dry sauna and there was fresh cum splattered all over the floor. Nobody was in there, and I didn't see anyone walk out. Grossed the hell out of me though seeing that there.

I have seen an old man once in the gym's sauna. I guess he needed to take a piss but did not want to walk back to the restroom. so he did it right there in the sauna. The smell was horrendous. Some guy reported him to the manager. But I don't think they bother to clean it up. The stain was there for a long time. pretty gross, I know.

Why is it always old men in the sauna?

I've seen some guys working out in the sauna, mostly seniors. I know I'd die if I did that... both figuratively and probably literally.

We had a guy at a gym I belonged to years ago that had Tourette's Syndrome or something similar. I know the noises he made were not something he could control but it was still startling in a place where people are doing potentially dangerous stuff with heavy objects. I accordingly preferred not to be right next to him when he was swinging dumbbells around but otherwise gave him the benefit of the doubt.

That was until the following happened: Of course you always knew where he was in the gym because of the sounds he made. One day when I was dumping my gear in a locker pre-workout, I could hear him in the showers. I went about my workout and when I returned to clean up, he was STILL in the shower. Due to an unfortunate placement of facing mirrors, I realized I could now SEE him in the shower, and he was busily giving himself a rectal exam that would have made his doctor proud, while amusing himself up front also, all with the curtain wide open.

High-tailing it out of there, I told a friend of mine who worked there about it, and he told me they were afraid to say anything to him because he had been kicked out of a competing gym and sued them, claiming he was discriminated against because of his disability.

That seemed nuts to me... yea you can't control your tics and noises, but if you can't resist the urge to diddle yourself in a public place, that is not due to Tourette's.

There seems to be a proliferation of tales about "That Guy" at the your respective gyms; my story is no different. We had a gentleman we noticed tended to dress like a pirate. His ears were pock-marked with several earings, he wore billowy pants and 80's pleather boots with a tank top.

He was built, to be sure. He made "arrrrrgh" sounds alot.

    No, not making this up.

And he would dominate the gym. He would carry every weight to one spot in the corner, even commandeering barbells he want from people who weren't paying attention. Finally, one day, a high school athlete, a friend of ours actually, went to the bathroom and this guy took his dumbbells. Our colleague went over and took them back- with the very polite, "dude, I wasn't done with those, but if you want, we can work out together--"

The man exploded with a chest bump and started screaming obsenties. He then took his hand on our friend's chest and pushed him to the ground.

Police were called. I have since seen this yahoo wandering town--dressed like a pirate.

    Weirdness.
