Not to be a nancy but you can tell he really loves her. Plus he was crying so adorable. It kinda cool that her family gave their blessings being that he was not royalty or from a well off family himself. Did you guys happen to just take a min to check out their wedding?

Why can't I find a nice, decent princess to marry icon_sad.gif To make me a prince and then dump and go show all the boys my pretty crown.

There are hundreds of princesses who married men who did not become princes.

They still get titles, however. Daniel also became a Duke.

Some of my cousins were at the ceremony, they said it was so beautiful and simple, not a huge spectacle like many royal weddings. icon_smile.gif

I think I read that the princess married her personal trainer! If that's true, it would be great if someone could dig up some appropriate (or better yet, inappropriate) pics of the buff prince...

You mean the unstable and manipulative Lady Diana Spencer? She was a good person but certainly no saint...

Wait- i was a child when she died... but why did everyone make such a big deal about? What was so special? (I don't feel like doing the research)

Wrong... That's Prince Carl Philip of Sweden and his sister Princess Madeleine.

Oh I apologize, I mistook her for Crown Princess Mette Merit of Norway who also attended the ceremony.

I am pleasantly surprised how well the Crown Princess of Norway is doing considering the criticism of her background and life before she married the crown prince.

I'm sure she must have been under severe pressure from the start but I rather not judge people at all since I've seen well bred royals fail worse than commoners. Ultimately it's her wisdom, intuition and integrity that will serve her well.

    *bonks head*

ngh... I... am so sick to hear about this haha. The only good thing that came out of this wedding was that the local transit was free the whole day, and even then I don't really think it was worth the millions of taxpayer-money spent on this debacle.
