I like it...but do you think that Annie Lennox is a bit distracting from the actual fashion show...she is a great artist, and I personally would rather watch her than the fashion becuase she is so good, but the show is about the fashion...i don't know, what do you think?

One of the best presentation of a collections this season right across the board, usually id get board halfway through a show, but the music and collection work very well together. If you want to see something distract from a show check out Karl Lagerfelds Chanel A/W 2011 collection. He shipped an actuall glacer from the north to the Grande Palaise. Funny, but a bit much I found. The collection was only ok as well, nothing to exciting.

Some interesting contrast for sure and I think the designers wanted to stage it that way. She has a lot of imagery that backs her from past video's. It's all about the visual now days. Some of the models were very good and I liked how it was staged! Not anything I have seen .....

    Hey Mystic!!

Yeah saw this video earlier today on towleroad! Awesome Annie &
beautiful men. I was pretty stoked to see some faces from the past, too.
Quite a few guys in there that haven't walked for them for quite a few seasons..
Loved the big, beefy, hairy guy with the shaved head... I forget his name, but never forget his face/body. icon_biggrin.gif

I've always liked Annie's work. Her voice is practically flawless, and she's a great philanthropist. Is she that hard up for money that she lowers herself to become nothing more than catwalk fodder?

Sorry, but I don't get it. I've never understood fashion. It caters to the narcissistic mind and, frankly, is always overpriced and often sub-par.

There's nothing sexier than a man in a well-made suit, or in a pair of nice fitting trousers, but why the drama and exorbitant prices from some sweatshop supporter like D&G when you can find everything you'll ever need to look good at your average clothing retailer? Seriously. This, people, is the ultimate fleecing of the consumer market.

The mood, the fashions, the music it all works together to create and convey feelings and an experience that goes beyond words.

Dolce and Gabbana have created a host of brands that evoke an emotional desire to associate.

Life and Art. Art and Life.

    Brilliant and flawless.
