Because people do not want to LOVE each other.

Yep. And they will not accept that there can be another way of looking at things without going postal or jihad on someone.

Because we live in a world where people would rather express more love to their pets than they would to another human being.

Actually, there is more love, but you are choosing to see the hate beforehand. Just change your paradigm.

    Peace!

A lot of people either don't know how to love or don't feel worthy of love. In both cases, it's a tragedy.

It's a question which has, in one form or another, preoccupied every religion and philosophy since humans got started - so there are many "explanations," some good, some not, some more helpful than others.

The Greek tragedians thought about it a great deal. They seem to have concluded that hate/evil just is, and that you have to endure it. The author of Job came to much the same conclusion.

Perhaps it's because we're all insecure. It's easier to hate and to fear, than it is to try to understand or to live with ambiguity and change. It gets worse in times when people are threatened by poverty, etc., because the "buffer zone" gets thinner. Politicians and religious "leaders" exploit it to gain support and power - because it's easier to tell your constituents to hate and fear than it is to tell them to think and tolerate.

But you know, if you yourself refuse to hate, and work to create happiness when and where you can, and are strong enough to live without complete certainty - you can create a good space around yourself. If you live with dignity and honesty and openness - good people will respond, though some stupid or fearful people won't or can't.

As far as it exists, you can create your own happiness and your own hate-free zone.

    Good luck,

    Nat

Everyone talks about love when the word hate is brought up... When talking about the cliche of "world peace" or what not. I don't think it's about love. I am not going to love every single thing about a person or sometimes even a group of people. But I will respect the fact that they are different and they have different views. I would take respect over absolute "love" anyday...

People are just so judgmental and so one-sided. If its not traditional, its not accepted. Isnt the whole point of earth diversity?

There is "so much hate in this world" because we are told there is right and wrong...but it is applied to social contexts, which are not true or false.

Logic is black and white, but humanity, exchange, nature, and reality is a gradient. So we use science to falsely show that "we" the majority are right, and since the opposite of right is wrong, wrong is grounds for hate because it is different. Sadly we don't push true rational logic in our education systems... instead it's some shitty hybrid of rhetoric and belief and you couple that with religion--which in my honest opinion is the only foothold for hate--and its game over.

Why is there so much hate? Because people are uneducated and only exposed to one reality; their reality...in other words, ppl are close minded. But everyone here knew that... or we wouldn't have a community of exclusively homosexual guys trying to stroke each others egos ;)

And because everyone's afraid of rejection, so rather than taking the risk of loving back, they'd rather hate first. It's a defence mechanism that's useless.
That's why Haters are so popular nowadays.
