ABOUT ME

I'm a college grad, generally straightforward and earnest. Though I have been known to be spontaneous, competitive and intense. Some people think I'm funny, but it's usually unintentional. If I have a sense of humor, it's probably kinda dry. Don't get me wrong though, I like a good laugh as much as the next guy.

I love the outdoors, film and video photography, and learning and conversing about science, geography, politics, history, culture, music, trivia and the environment. My interests are pretty diverse. I'm no real expert in any of these areas, but it's always enlightening to chat about with others.

I can be kinda a buff for sports (especially the teams I follow: Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Red Wings) and some movies and TV shows that I watch. I love playing tennis and football and watching those and hockey. If you're into these things too, more power to you.

I'm in kinda a crossroads in life right now. Trying to switch careers, juggle a messed-up family, and aiming to accomplish some long unfulfilled life goals at the same time. While I think I may come across as jaded and cynical, I'm really more of an optimist than I let on, and also more naive than I probably should be. That's what life is about isn't it.

Unfortunately I'm also not on here as often as I used to be. Do hit me up and I'll reply as soon as I can. I will respond to just about anybody unless the message is rude or disrespectful, but it'd be great to get to know anyone and everyone.
