I try to respond to just about every message I get including hot listings and photo comments. Who doesn't like photo comments?
I do crossfit and play a lot of sports - basketball, football, golf, run, lift, swim, bike, ultimate, tennis...I love sports, being outdoors/active and competing. I'm not really good at anything though. I like to think that means I'm well rounded and reasonably decent at a lot of things.
If you're a crossfitter, definitely hit me up. I got my level one cert in the Spring of 2011 and have started coaching at my gym. It's been a lot of fun getting to teach, and learn from, some really exceptional athletes. Always looking for tips and suggestions to improve - so feel free to send those along.
I eat a mostly (90%) paleo diet. It's been really good for me though I still drink alcohol and use milk in my protein shakes. I tweak my protein, carb, and fat ratios at times. It's fun to experiment and see what happens though I've found that my body likes to stay around 175lbs and 8% body fat. I tried getting over 180lbs but couldn't maintain the weight. As soon as I tried to lean back out it all went away. I did keep the strength though so that's a bonus.
Yes, I'm also a nerd. Heck, my pictures are in chronological order. I spend my time outside of work and the gym playing board games, reading, working on my house, cooking, and looking at budget tables and statistics. I track all my workouts and am a bit of a homebody. So yes, like I said, I'm a nerd and I'm fine with it.
