Gosh, it has been a long time since I actually read this. Gah, I hate talking about myself, but since this is RealJock, here's some kinda jocky stuff about me:

I run on the beach; I enjoy mountain biking, though that's a bit of a misnomer as there are no mountains in Virginia Beach, unless you count Mount Trashmore, which you shouldn't. I play volleyball year round. And in the summer, I enjoy rollerblading and body surfing. I would like to learn how to really surf, I just haven't made the time.

I love jogging and running to relieve stress; however, my knees are not cooperating. I believe I've suffered from patellar tendonitis and IT band syndrome, and I've recently started yoga to help with flexibility and recovery.

I love to kayak and hike around natural settings (local fav is First Landing State Park). I also spend a lot of my free time volunteering for various organizations - local AIDS charities, Equality Virginia and the Human Rights Campaign, Water For People (international drinking water assistance to developing countries), and various environmental organizations.
