I'm a second year PhD student at UC Berkeley in chemistry.
I was never really into fitness when I was younger, but have gotten very into it since I started college and always look forward to my daily trek to the gym.
After I get my PhD I'd love to go into teaching as a professor at a smaller college. I really enjoy interacting with students developing new ways to teach basic material.
My passion in life is Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy research. I have worked on several projects over the last few years and will continue to do so in the future. My major project as an undergraduate focused on using NMR to monitor ligand coordination to CdSe quantum dots for inclusion in photovoltaic devices.
I'm kind of a nerd but I love that about myself and you should too. I'm also a sucker for horror movies and I almost always have one on in the background. Recently I've been spending a lot of time exploring the great hiking in the California bay area and went sky diving for the first time. It's something I can't wait to do again!
