Professional and hard-working guy with a serious side when the situation calls for it, but there's also a much more laid back and fun-loving side to me. I love getting outside - skiing in the winter or hiking and backpacking in the summer. I'm a marathoner and triathlete (two full Ironmans now under my belt...and counting).

Big fan of most college and professional sports, and have played various team and individual sports throughout my life. I also love music, reading, eating good food, drinking good beer, wine, and scotch, and spending time with my friends and family. And I will admit that I treasure the occasional night in with absolutely nothing to do.

Love to travel and have seen almost every inch of the U.S. Starting to work my way around the rest of the world - have a long way to go. This fall I'll be seeing: Scotland, Netherlands, Germany, and Czech Republic. Anyone want to be my tour guide? :)

I admire people who work hard but maintain balance in their lives. People who can manage successful relationships, friendships, and careers, while also giving back to their communities and nurturing/developing other interests are really appealing to me - I aspire to the same thing.

Also happy to meet guys with similar interests to go for a hike, go to a game, etc. Open to dating if we click, and along those lines tend to be attracted to be attracted to guys a little younger than me, but there are no hard and fast rules.
