Bi-male, 42, looking to meet people for friendship and maybe more...


I am a fitness instructor part time. I really enjoy teaching and talking about the benefits of the exercises that I teach. I also enjoy my own workouts. I have started to run again within the last year after a two-year hiatus. Within the last month, I have run a 1/2 marathon and a 10 K race. I not only exercise my body, but my mind too.


I have a variety of interests. I like most sciences. I enjoy learning new languages, but I haven't had the time to devote to studying. I like reading sci-fi, non-fiction, and about social issues. In May of 2007, I earned a Masters degree in Information Technology Management.


I am looking to meet people who share the idea of the strengthing of the mind and the body. I am looking to expand my circle of friends. I am not really looking for intimate friends, but I am not closing myself to the possibility.

Here are some words that I look to as mantras for my life:

For the third year in a row, I ran the Dexter-Ann Arbor 1/2 marathon. I ran faster the the previous two years and I only ran outside once before running it. I could have run faster since most of the run was easy. I had a lot of fun running. I'm looking forward to next year.

I would like to meet guys who are into balancing the physical and the mental; someone who is looking to grow as a human being.
