    I'm a traveling consultant, but the powers that be have decided to "ground me" and keep me around the DC area for the next couple of months. I'm into trashy sci-fi television (Archer, Stargate, Fringe), good food, and running.

    Looking for a fellow yogi that works out at VIDA to get me into weight training. My goal is being capable of holding my ass up in a hand stand. Working out 4-6 times a week means I'm fit, but still have a long ways to go. My aversion to free-weights doesn't help. I find that the only way I can get myself through a set of reps is to have someone motivating me to do it.

    Otherwise you're likely to find me on the treadmill or taking part of a group exercise class. I find that working out in a group motivates me with its inherent competitive element, but as it's not a race and individuals aren't evaluated, I don't feel as much pressure.

    As the weather warms it would be great to get a group for long runs along the Georgetown tow path on Sunday mornings.

    It would be great to find a couple of people to do long weekend runs. When not training for a race I like to do 6-7 miles on Sunday morning.
