I am dynamic, passionate and gregarious. I believe in doing service and the Prayer of Saint Francis proves to be my guide in life. Occupations and pasttimes have to have some sort of service oriented quality to them. This is not because I'm trying to win the Florence Nightingale Award, but more out of the selfish need to get out of myself. I counsel HIV , Methadone patients on taking their meds adherently. Tough job but ultimately rewarding. I am a volunteer member of the New York City Gay Men's Chorus. I also sing with the Ambassador Choir which is NYCGMC's equivalent of a chamber choir, sort of the creme de la creme, so to speak. I also dance with the dance team and I truly believe in the mission that The Chorus was borne to serve, which is to promote positive examples of what it is to be gay and doing so by touching peoples hearts, minds and spirits through the gift of song. I have been sober for over 5 years now and love it! Getting sober has been THE most significant development of my life and it is my primary purpose. I have been blessed to have such a close knit and fun loving family. My sister is also gay and lives with her beautiful spouse in San Diego. My parents are even more inspirational, my mother is where I get my creative powers from. My dad is where my pragmatic, spiritual nature comes from. He is by far the most intelligent man I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is generous to a fault and a quiet, strong force in my life

Someone more like me than not, although I appreciate the differences in people, I've found through experience that the closer two people are in temprament, the better off they will be in the long run. Someone who has spiritual as well as physical fitness. Someone who lights up a room with their smile. Someone who speaks the language of the heart, and is not afraid to cry, or laugh, or sing. Sexually, I'm into toned, well defined bodies.
