I am a 47 year old father of three who recently decided that pretending to be someone other than who I am was not healthy and wasn't doing anyone any favors. So to say that my life has been one of transition would be an understatement.
I have been health conscious my entire life which has helped me get through the past couple of years in one piece! A distance runner by choice, I have participated in marathons and a couple of ultra marathons, the most recent being the White River 50 mile mountain run in WA.
TIred of being slender my entire life (150 lbs.) I decided to join a local gym and begin weigh training for the first time. Now after 14 months of dedicated training, I reach my first weight gain goal of 20 lbs. This was a monumental achievement for me, putting me at the highest weight of my life. I have been amazed at what 20 lbs can to to how a person feels physically and emotionally. I actually fill out my size "M" technical tee shirts!
I love to set and acheive goals, and the gym has been a great place where I can escape the pressures of work and my personal life and do something that produces such tremendous satisfaction. It has been a very rewarding journey thus far...
Guys I'm Looking To Meet
Hard working men who enjoy pushing themselves to acheive their goals. I love to meet all kinds of people who are sincere, respectful and principled. My idea of fun activities would include quite dinners at home, good music, stimulating conversations, anything cultured and uplifting. I love many sports, but have a real interest in hockey, running, softball and of course weight training. College sports are also a favorite.
