World OutGames: Beach Volleyball

Royal Block player Zoran from Delft, Holland, was as hot on the court as the blazing sunshine. We managed to catch him while cooling down.
What is it that you love about beach volleyball?
It is great to be outside, enjoy the sun, get a tan and play a great sport. I really do love the sport. It's very fun.
What other games have you been to?
We competed at the Eurogames in Utrecht. But nothing so big as this.
And how has this experience been?
Opening ceremonies was fun. The Montreal Olympic Stadium is an impressive building. It was especially fun waiting with all the teams to come out into the stadium. We were having a great time downstairs with all the teams singing and cheering and having fun, then we came out into the stadium and celebrated.
Are you happy with how you have done so far?
I am very happy. We have won 6 sets and only lost two. It's been good ball. We've played well.
