The Melbourne Argonauts camp it up dockside after winning gold in the coxed four-man. Above, Tim Dart, coxswain, Atholl Murray, Geoffrey Lyne, Graeme Lewsey and Alexander Mitchell.
We asked coxswain Tim about the experience of steering the Argonauts to victory.
"I've never coxed before, so it's all very new! This is my first time coxing in competition," Tim said.
Wow, how long did you train with your crew?
I've been rowing with them solidly for the last six months, about three or four times a week. I couldn't row in the masters category, so I decided to cox for them, and we had someone take my place.
Fantastic. And how was this experience for you?
Ah, it's amazing! This has been the best place. We've been to a few regattas and won a few medals, but this is the bestthe best, by far."

Absolutely great to see an article on gay rowing - good pictures, but most impressed on the insightful commentary!
I was in Montreal rowing myself and you seemed to catch the mood there!
