Love the outdoors - camping and hiking - and my three grandkids (who I don't get to see nearly enough any more since I'm in NY and they're out in California and Oregon. And one of 'em is getting married). I don't actively participate in sports any longer (hey, cut me some slack, I'm almost 64, fer chrissake), but I do still lift 3-4 days a week. Been partnered since 1984 and tied the knot officially in NY on May 19, 2012. My husband John & I used to run a small theatrical production company called Kaliyuga Arts and I also do freelance acting work whenever and wherever anyone is insane enough to hire me. John and I re-located to Manhattan some years back (after 14 years in San Francisco) but sold our place there a while back and are now living in a hexagonal pole house we designed and built on 10 acres upstate in the Catskills. And we purchased a former warehouse building right outside downtown Catskill in late 2013and are in the process of converting it into a performance space of our own. For those who might like to check out my acting work (and can't get to wherever I'm presently appearing onstage, if I'm lucky), I'm also in a couple small indie films of which I'm pretty proud and both are available from Netflix. One is a narrative featurette made by our friend Joe Graham which was inspired by the works of Dennis Cooper, Jean Genet, and Jean Cocteau called VANILLA (in which I play - pretty credibly - the father of a teenage boy). Joe also has a terrific first feature called STRAPPED that was released by TLA on December 7, 2010 - also at Netflix and another recently released called BEAUTIFUL SOMETHING. The other film I'm in is a documentary about a theatre company I worked with in upstate New York back in the mid-70s called THE LOSS OF NAMELESS THINGS (it was broadcast in early 2006 on the PBS series "Independent Lens" and it's also available from Netflix. Check 'em out.
