People sometimes ask me what my favorite part about New York is. And this is it. There is no mystery of life that this delicate interaction of people and place cannot answer. Those answers are everywhere - in well known friends, in a group of girls in a diner at 4am, in a stranger on the subway.
This city can make you feel fulfilled.. and yet worthless. Surrounded and a part of something.. and yet singular and alone. It has a life of its own, and if you learn to touch it in the right places, it will share its mysteries with you, and you will also be touched.
