ABOUT ME

Those here that know me well are aware I do speak my mind--and it can be loud at times! Hey, I didn't get that from some "big box" store, it's an inherited trait....The guys I have met here know I can be a tad bit shy at times, and to those that have said kind words...thank you. You will never be forgotten.

I have discovered as the years go by, it's harder to get in better shape--and keep it that way. I'll admit, I am a very good cook and love to be creative in the kitchen. Cooking is a passion along with reading, gardening (so easy--if I can do it then.....), watching spectator sports (Go Rays--Go Gators), traveling (I'm always ready to go to New York City--my theme park), and the occasional shopping splurge. Lately, I have a passion for selling real estate and the initial steps to obtaining my licenses will begin soon. Cheering on my "friends" on MSNBC and hissing at Republicans is also a favorite of mine (or should that be a "spectator sport?")

My tastes in music are varied and unique (see below). I cannot stomach Country music! The closest it gets "might" be the occasional Marshall Tucker tune, so "Southern Rock" is okay--reminds me of my roots in the Atlanta/deep south areas.

Some past health challenges have prevented me from running marathons and making the US Olympic team.....however, I enjoy a good power walk (Florida weather permitting) and need GOOD advice on getting in better overall shape. I'm lucky to have a gym in the office park where I work, but every time I see the personal trainer there, he's munching a Big Mac or popping Chicken McNuggets. What's up with that? Really??
