In March, we are launching our third series of Saturday San Francisco Bootcamps. Regular readers of the site have seen the workouts go up after the fact, and been consumed with jealousy. There is just no replacement for getting your butt kicked in person by Diakadi Body co-founders Billy Polson and Mike Clausen. Here's your chance to experience the fun, sweat, creative workouts and unpredictable weather that are rapidly making the San Francisco Bootcamps legendary, and that demonstrate why Diakadi Body is voted best personal training gym by San Francisco CitySearch year in and year out.
Billy and Mike are well-known to RealJock members as creators of our 12-week Diakadi Body workouts. If you've done those workouts, you're familiar with their principles of functional training, proper form, and high intensities. You can expect to see all of that in action at the San Francisco Bootcamps, and more besides, as Billy and Mike use the outdoor terrain as an inspiration to some serious fitness creativity. We also encourage RealJock members to take this opportunity to get to know each other in person and form some new friendships as you share some sweat.
The RealJock/Diakadi SF Bootcamps will be held on four consecutive Saturdays beginning on March 14th (to get you going in time for Spring Break, Memorial Day Weekend, and bathing suit season generally), alternating between two fantastic locations in our gorgeous city—Mission Creek Park and the Lyon St. Stairs in the Presidio. For experienced bootcampers, these sites have fond memories, and for new participants, you won't believe how much the beautiful setting contributes to the experience. Bootcamps start at 10am and run for approximately one hour. In that hour, you'll experience Billy and Mike's unique functional training techniques, using your body-weight, exercise tubes, stairs, and anything else these creative trainers can find to throw at you. You'll learn some new techniques, break out of your rut, and a be introduced to a group of new friends. And the best part of all—it's only $20 per session, with a discount if you do all four.
