Someone recently posted Improv Everywhere's Frozen Grand Central and I started checking out the other missions on the site. Two of them have, apparently, raised controversy over their "mind game" aspect.

    Best Gig Ever
    Ted's Birthday

You can find a segment from Chicago's "This American Life" that talks with the band and "Ted" here.

I'm conflicted with what to say and think about it...good intentions, bad results? Careless megalomania on Charlie Todd's part? Overly sensitive recipients?

What about you all? Any thoughts?

I think they're awesome. I say push the envelope of perception. Maybe it will help wake some people up! They didn't hurt anyone; they aren't terrorizing anyone; no one died. I can't wait to see what they do next!

I thought it was very interesting and very very well done.

I admit Best Gig Ever was a bit in bad taste in my opinion. It was fun though, like the rest of their stuff. icon_razz.gif
