First, when I find a funny Conservative, I will laugh. Unfortunately, most of them are grim as executioners. Does a funny Republican exist? southbeach sure isn't a good example.
Second, Liberals don't want to control what we eat. But rather, what is served to us. If you want unregulated and poisoned food set before you, then fine, do eat up. Republicans want company profits first, public safety last.
Democrats want safe food on our tables, not corporate profits above all else. What do YOU choose?

Well thats not entirely true, they only laugh if they are the ones making the jokes. It was like with Ms Palin all was fair game, because they felt threatend by her, and put all their X4 in a circle as a result and stated to attack her, and "her family" too. While they was doing it was all well and good and funny too so they thought.
But the minute some-one touched on a truth about Obama, that was not on or funny, and lord forbid if you touched his family, yet they where ready to sell Ms Palin's family into slavery.

Just because I don't find Maher funny doesn't mean I will say he isn't successful.

A "comedian" (funny or not to you) is able to make a great living at doing COMEDY. Wouldn't that lead one to believe that in order for masses of people to spend their money to see that COMIC perform over many years, many people find him FUNNY? It's hard for a comedian to make the kind of money Miller has made in his career without hoardes of people finding his brand of comedy very FUNNY.
What you're saying, it seems, is that "okay, Dennis Miller has made a lot of money being a comedian, but he isn't funny." Uhh, how would that work? If his job is telling jokes, and he is paid a lot to do that job, wouldn't that mean that lots of people find him funny?
