... and eighth Mac, including a MacBook Pro. Not that any of them ever failed, just upgrading. This current one is nearly 3 years old, ancient by computer standards.
Should be here in a few days, since it was custom-configured and wasn't available at the local Apple Store per Apple policy, had to do it online with FedEx delivery.
Has a couple of Terabytes of storage, plus a separate 256 Gig solid state drive just for the apps. A quad-core processor, 16 Gig memory, 27" screen, wireless KB, mouse & trackpad, and will use the harmon/kardon tower speakers & subwoofer I already have with this iMac, since I didn't see anything currently available that was significantly better than these, nor would esthetically match nicer.
Not sure what I'll do with this old iMac, perhaps donate it to charity. I'll report back how the new one works when it arrives in a few days.
