Hey Guys:

I was wondering if anybody has done the above with the Date District. Any feedback, good or negative - would be appreciated.

Here information about it -

Gay Speed Dating Event

November 9th, 2010
Time: 6:30 - 9:00 PM
Location: The Press Club
20 Yerba Buena Lane, CA 94103

How it Works:

* When you first arrive and check-in, you will be given a tracking sheet and seated at one of the many tables-for-two.
* You will have four minutes to mingle with your first date. After four minutes, you will rotate and meet your next suitor.
* Between dates you will use your tracking sheet to record who you clicked with.
* After everyone has had a chance to meet, you will turn in your scorecard to your hosts. If there is a mutual match, you will receive an email the next day with the contact information of your match. From there it is up to you to reach out and setup the next date!

This event is intended for men between the ages of 25 - 45.Your hosts will be running the evening and keeping everyone moving. Check-in begins at 6:30 PM with the event starting shortly after. Come alone or bring a friend, just be sure to arrive on-time out of respect for your fellow daters. Space is limited to the first 16 men that purchase a ticket. Reserve your spot today using the PayPal button above.

Frequently Asked Questions:

This is the first time I have done this...what should I expect?
You should expect to have a great time! We actually guarantee it, and if your experience is anything but fun, we'll make sure to fix it. Your host will explain the process after everyone is checked in and then the dating will begin. You will meet a lot of people in a short amount of time. There is a short 10-15 minute intermission half way through the event.

Why is this event focused on a specific age group?
We have done a lot of market research and found that most gay men prefer to date within their own age range. The age range for this event is based on that research and intended to encompass as many participants as possible. We hope to do more events for other age groups in the future.

What are some good questions to ask the other participants?
Instead of providing a list of questions, Date District believes the best questions are those that come to you naturally in the moment. There really are no right or wrong questions. That being said, we recommend thinking about what you want to learn about the other participants before the event. This will help you determine what to ask at the right time.
