Conan O'Brien is back on tv. I thought the new show on TBS was really funny. I missed his comedy!

Nov 09, 2010 10:04 PM GMTSorry...never understood the appeal of Conan. The whole tonight show fracas created so much publicity, and I thought who cares? He's made millions...so big effing deal if NBC pulled the plug. It's not like he lost his job and had five kids to support.
Just my opinion...Conan is totally unfunny and reminds me of a snarky little kid on the playground trying to be cool.

I don't think the viewership will ever come close. Major networks still own the TV when it comes to specific shows. -

I would agree with you...5 years ago. More people have at least basic cable than ever. I think he has a huge fanbase that will follow him to the new show. 4.1 million viewers for the first show is near double what the other shows average on a GREAT night...granted most were probably curiosity views. I think he'll do well. -
