Many, many, many times.
Sometimes years go by and I think......."Damn......I wish I would have said something at the time...."......and it stays with you.......not just asked but had wished you'd done...................

Dec 14, 2010 3:50 PM GMTLike when I was mid twenties and a HOT man in black bikini underwear crawled into my bed to watch TV and I just sat there and watched TV not acting on the opportunity..... or 6 years before when the perfectly hot man asked me if I ever thought I was gay and I said "no," ...... or the year before that when the hottest man I have ever known took me on spring break to his parent's home in Palm Springs and I never responded to his advances ....... and people wonder why I rarely let an opportunity to meet men go now.
YES I would love to time travel back to each of these and more. -

Dec 14, 2010 5:02 PM GMTBack in my med school days, a hot guy came onto me after a night out dancing at a club, and I was so sure (in my mind) that he was straight, that I just laughed off his request that I stay over at his place. I wanted to ask if he really meant it - and if he was really gay, but I didn't. I blew it, and he was evidently embarrassed about having asked me - and sadly, we didn't speak again. If I had it to do over, I'd have just gone for it with him. I liked him a lot, and I'm sorry I was so straight acting back then. I'm sorry so many of us thought we had to keep up the straight image. What a waste of everything. -
