I generally don't like xmas either. My family is pretty religious, and sorta make it all about Jesus. I enjoy getting to visit with family, but I much prefer Thanksgiving for that. At least then it's not all about "Do you believe in Jesus yet? Why not?"
I can't make it back to visit family this year for either holiday, so I'm going snowboarding all day instead. Hopefully everyone else here will be home with their families, so I can have the mountain to myself.
I really don't hate the religious aspects of Christmas though. I also don't mind Hanukkah, Easter, Halloween, etc. The things that really get to me are the music, the smell of peppermint everywhere (it makes me sneeze), and the traffic at stores. I hate it when family tries to convert me to Christianity every time I go back around Christmas, but getting to visit with family is worth it despite the petty annoyances like that. Again, Thanksgiving is WAY better. :-)
