Trouble with Asian Guys

    Since late in my high school years I find myself more drawn to asian men (not that I’m not into other guys.) I’m just really attracted to Asian guys. Unfortunately the reverse is not really true…….at all. A decent amount of guys message me per day so I don’t think I’m hideous or come off as a bad person. When I message guys I have about an 80% success rate. With Asian guys however, it would be a generous figure to say that one in ten of them message me back. Could someone shed some light on this situation for me, or give me an idea on what I'm doing wrong......

    In my 30 years of experiance dating Asian guys I would say that terms like "Yellow fever" and "Rice Queen" are not well recieved.
    I have even had a few Asian guys tell me that they will never date a guy who says they like Asians.
    The internet tends to force us to profess our interests and likes but that is not as bad as outright saying or writing it. Also guys that tend to use the internet for dating have preconcieved notions about different ethnicities.
    I suggest you try to meet guys in the Gym, Bar/Club or organizations where more open-minded people tend to inhabit.

    It's because we are particularly picky not to be confused with superficial. Most Asians like being with other Asians... I find very very few asians interested in other ethnicities... Yes there a lot of Asian guys and girls that love the caucasion persuasion... Like you one in ten message you back which is not a bad thing....

    Play nice now! I think it's all a matter of personal preference and one could find Asian that like white better, the same as finding Asians that like Asians better.

    It's a big pond with lots of fish, just need the right bait.

    I somewhat disagree...
    except for "it has nothing to do with you" that maybe true.
    Most Asian guys that I've met, or had some type of "relationship" for lack of a (better term) with are very interested in Black males.
    Or most specifically intrested in me, maybe for the "stereotype" or just curious about whatever.
    Its really specific to the individual and where you live etc.
    It's not as black and white (no pun intended) to say they are or are not attracted.

    I've met Asian guys who are very open minded and liberal, and others are more introverted and reserved.

    But I think the White/Asian connection is basically due to convenience.
    They are generally, the majority in the same places work, school etc.

    To give you a little background, I had never even heard of the term before my asian friends at school used it the general trend they observed in my taste in men. If you think that the term is insensitive, then I appreciate you pointing that out because it will help me to not offend people in the future. That said, I do not see how the use of that phrase implies that I am working off of any sort of stereotype.....

    Just gotta remember that alot of what we are attracted to is based on enviroment. My friend Mikayla is a white girl raised in the hood...she ONLY digs on black men. I was raised in a rural farming community so I prefer Nordic looking dudes that have no sophistication. However, I would say keep looking around bro...its bound to happen!

    There are asian guys out there that like black guys( or any other race),but there is a huge majority that run after white guys.

    And don't even get me started on people that mumble " well the only reason why I only date white guys is because I was raised mostly around them,so it's just a "Preference".
