I went rollerblading at that park I posted about yesterday.
The park is not much designed for rollerblading...more for skateboarding.
But I was really really impressed with how well behaved all the kids were. They ranged in age from pre-teen to maybe early 20s.
I was there was over 2 hours and I didnt hear any swearing, or fighting, or see anything that seemed ill-behaved. They were all having a great time and real intense on enjoying the curvy courts and "grinding" on some rails.
An errant skateboard rolled right in front of me and took me down. The kids were there to give me a hand up ...and boy whose board it was apologized...and commented on how good it was that I was wearing a helmet. (I actually was padded up to look like some kind of robocop...tee hee hee)...but it was good...I slid on my left upper forehead...without the helmet my head would have been a mess...and the hand guards protected my hands from being shreaded....only a little scrape, less than a dime...and a stubbed finger ...MEDIC!!!
