Is being bigger always better?

  Interesting one for me. Here in Hong Kong, the aesthetic sense is much more toward looking ripped/defined than size.
  
  So guys are much happier to be 150 lbs with abs and nice V taper than to be, say, 190 lbs with thick chest, back, cannonball shoulders and biceps with some fat covering up the abs.

  The old skool lifters from 100 years ago did it all from the width of the wrist... and they had proportions based on that. Nowadays they just want big legs and look like hippos.

  I just love men .. ok maybe not the morbidly obese or 80 y.o. + ( although i see some really old men whom i find beautiful , not in a sexual way but in an artistic way , there is nobility )
  
  i see some massive guys at the gym and they look great but it makes their dick look smaller...which fills me with sadness .

  This is exactly how I feel too. I love a swimmer's build on a guy. If the muscle is too defined or too big I don't find it attractive anymore. Obviously I like muscle, but it I like it to be lean and not hyper defined.

  No, bigger is not generally "better"...lean, flexible & well proportioned is much more attractive than chunky muscle-bound as far as I'm concerned. And "average" height around 5'8" plus or minus an inch or two is fine too. IMHO.

  However... from personal experience, I've noticed a recurring theme: the bigger the guy, the greater his narcissistic tendencies.

  Me, personally, I like the bodybuilder look, but more in the 240 pound range than in the 300 pound range. So that's what I'm going for.

  Well I do think bigger is better but aesthetics do come in to play, I hate seeing huge guys with tiny chicken legs, or whos chest takes up 60% of there mass (don't get me wrong I LOVE a huge chest). I'm not a big fan up the super ripped and disgustingly vainly look either.
  
  A select few peoples body types & proportions may classy as "too big" but I have yet to see it yet in my opinion

  I wanna b 185-190 ripped, I look at other guys that are my height 5'9, an they are smokin at 180-190 if they got a 6 pack, I have bigger legs than most (wish my upper body was bu8ilt like my legs) 190 would b the max for me, any bigger an i'd start ta look like blocky/chunky, but i wanna get there quick tho, i'm already 33 an i wanna enjoy lookin good while i can.
