Bullwinklemoos saidOh they're real. The thing is that I think they removed the fat that was over the abs, but the fat that's between the organs and the abs is still there.
That's kind of what I was thinking. He doesn't look too unhealthy, but it just looks so weird.

Oh, did you get the procedure, too?
    Just kidding... icon_cool.gif
Yep. It's call the Paleo procedure. icon_biggrin.gif
Oh. I'm trying the starve myself diet. So far it's not working.
Don't worry. You'll have abs by the time you die of starvation, so you can be shirtless and hot in the coffin. icon_biggrin.gif

Has anyone ever started a thread on Australian men? Interesting creatures they are. Some take tacky to a whole new level, like Mr Lyons here. Has no one noticed the hair as well?!

    Nothing.
Abs are pretty, but I'd rather have a nice set of shoulders.

Great job! Ain't no shortcuts in life.

How long do people reckon Lyons' fake abs will last before they start reuniting?

I don't think those are implants. He paid a "hefty" amount to get abdominal etching liposuction, wherein more fat is removed around the abdominal muscles than is removed from over them.

The obvious problem with this in many cases is that there is fat under the muscles as well as over them. The only way to surgically remove submuscular fat is through risky laparoscopic surgery. The solution for someone who is rotund with much body fat is overall fat loss first!
