  Wow you guys Plan way in advance! I haven't thought past the season opener at Hopkinton State Park (outside of Boston) in May.... I need to get cracking.

  The Rookie Tri Sprint May 6th
  Lake Pflugerville Sprint June 17th
  Couples Sprint - July 15th
  Jack's Generic Sprint - Aug 5th
  TriRock Austin Olympic - Sept 3
  Kerrville Tri Half - Sept 30th
  Austin 70.3 - Oct 28th
  
  I also did the Republic of Texas last weekend. All are in or around the Austin area. If anyone around here is doing one of these or just looking for someone to train with hit me up.

  Hey guy. Just posted your schedule up above. Good Luck on the Rookie Tri. Just did the Marquee Olympic last Sunday and now I'm going out to AZ to do the Rio Salado Olympic on the May 5th. Tris are so fucken addicting.

  Thanks kt - the race was last Sunday. I finished but my time was pretty crappy. Was coming off of a nasty cold and pretty much coughed for the whole race. Good look with your tri in a couple weeks.

  How's everyone's training? I did my first triathlon today in Galena, IL. It's in Northwest Illinois just east of the Mississippi. The distance was between a sprint and an olympic. The hills out there were really amazing. Lots of steep rollers that made the bike tough and the run especially challenging.

  My training is going well and I am making gains in everything. I have done two races so far this year. One went better than expected and the other went to shit. My third is in a few weeks and I am feeling better about it. The difficult part for me is still to come. I have a bunch of travel coming up for work and that will likely take it's toll on my bike times. We shall see.
