Disturbing? Not really. There seems to be a lot of topics concerning age and attraction these days. If an 18 year old finds someone attractive, then let him pursue that attraction. Take it as a compliment. I know I sure do.
True, I don't generally find 18 year old guys attractive, although I've seen some that made my jaw drop, but it's rare. Many young guys admire mature guys and look up to them as role models. I'm sure there are some young guys that probably have daddy fetishes, but don't we all have our kinks and fetishes, and who really cares as long as no one is getting hurt.
I just had the opposite happen to me. A guy e-mailed me asking me if I was into older men. At first, before I replied, I was like, well, I've seen some really hot guys in their upper 50's and 60's, so I guess I wouldn't say I'm not into older guys. When I looked at his profile, though, he had his age listed as 90 years old. I was shocked! I mean, okay, I can see being attracted to a guy in his 50's, 60's, and, hell, I'll even give you 70's, but a guy in his 90's! That's a no! What do you even do with a 90 year old man? Hell, I'm not Anna Nicole Smith!
