Now if you are talking about intelligent life, the chances are still good. However if you are talking about aliens visiting our planet, then you are out of luck (or your mind, whichever you prefer). -

Mar 02, 2012 5:18 PM GMTI have a brother who is a hardcore Born Again Christian and he insists that there must be life out there. Odd coupling of ideologies with him... but it makes sense. When I was still in the flocks and praising the God Of Creation as a newly B.A.C. I was so sure that aliens had to exist. All the science that measures the world around us, and gives us sexy man clothing, sun glasses, measurable results from a healthy diet and sunblock must have idea how to calculate the Logical Possibility of life outside planet earth; either God Made or not. Mind you, I believed in life in outer space from years before being a Star Wars and Star Trek fan growing up.
I'm no longer identifying with Christianity; though I still believe there is a possibility that life is out there, if it's bunch of protozoa swimming in a dark sulfur bath on a distant moon, or another intelligent life form looking into their night sky wondering if there are other selfish being out there somewhere? -

Mar 02, 2012 5:49 PM GMTaliens do exist! It would be kinda of retarded to think that their isnt any other form of intelligent life beyond our galaxy and universe. I don't think we would ever see a real intelligent life form in 100 years but we would probably discover a planet that has a chance of harboring one. Even if we discover a planet that has intelligent life, the possibility of getting there would probably be slim with the current technology we have and given how fast you can only go (speed of light). Unless you can create some kind of wormhole or something which I think it is impossible. And if we could travel at the speed of light our bodies wouldn't be able to cope with it since like airpliots can't even cope at flying at mach 3 speeds without feeling harmful side of effects. So unless we alter our DNA to be resistant to radiation like roaches or have less dense body then I dont know how you would be able to survive a space trip far as fuck to another galaxy billion miles away that would take hundreds of years.
This is why I think when people say they see aliens (green men looking thing) that they are lying or seeing things since if we don't have that technology down or that whole space travel shit down then how would they? There is only so much you can do in the context of space. You can't really alter space and shit unless we dont know how and they do. I dont know, I'm going on a long random tangent now.
