When I become muscular (If ever) I could see myself with a smooth slightly femmy twink boy for sure. He'd be quite the opposite of me.

I think this is one of the things about homosexuality, what happens when you 'are', what you are attracted to. So to speak, of course, I understand that everyone will have different opinions about what they are attracted to.

That being said, consider that a straight man is attracted to certain physical things, large breasts and a small waist (to be really predictable). He cannot have these features himself as a man, so he perhaps tries to present himself in a way that a woman like this would find attractive (whatever that is, who knows)

A gay man, on the other hand, is physically attracted to (for example) a six pack, smooth skin, and a well developed chest. He is in a position to possess these features and perhaps assumes that if this is what he finds attractive, other men must also find it attractive and attempts to look this way himself.

I understand this presupposes physical attraction, but I can see why, in this case, a large number of 'muscular' are only attracted to other muscular guys, because they have the capacity to emulate physically what they find attractive and so on and so on.

I don't want to be deterministic in this case, because I am slim (trying to get bigger icon_smile.gif but have found muscular guys that are attracted to me for whatever reason. The base of the matter is attraction is always going to be subjective. I still feel though if we are looking for a reason why many muscular guys are only attracted to other muscular guys, it is because they maybe are able to conform to what they find attractive themselves.

Lot's of conjecture , I know, and yes, it is very very circumstantial, however, some of the sociological research I've been exploring tries to account for these spikes in correlative data. blah blah blah

I'm not super muscular but I do get attracted to people skinnier and smaller than me. They're adorable. In fact there was one sitting across from me while I was in the library today.
