This is yet another example of the buffoonry of Gary Bettman and the NHL Board of governors.
It's their mandate to deny a Canadian city another NHL franchise. The previous owner of the Preds has a large part to do with this.

A perfectly good city (Hamilton) a very wealthy-singularly wealthy I might add-denied his opportunity to own a NHL club.

I encourage anyone who gives a damn about the game, write the NHL, write that sob Leipold. Leipold deserves a smack upside of the head. I am still trying to unravel the truth about the decision to sell to another "group" of investors.

This is precisely the reason why the NHL has financial problems in poor market cities-like Nashville etc. The group investors make it impossible for the other owners to resolve issues such as sales and expansion. This is wrong and it's destroying the game.
