    @eb925guy
    I def. agree with you, the first time I came out I was practically forced to come out because her sis was in love with me for years. And I never felt comfortable telling her..
    But now because I accept myself I feel more comfortable than ever!

    @Jockbod48
    Actually it's 8years but who's counting icon_smile.gif I didn't want to correct her lol

    @vinny42
    Well after I said "we need to talk" I couldn't chicken out of it anymore haha, so I just went blanc and before I knew it I said "I'm gay"

    I'm truly sorry you have it difficult and hope you and others will find soon your own way to overcome this..

    Thx guys for the supportive responses!
    Big hug to all!

    Why is it always us gays who have to come out of the closet? Why don't we make straight people start announcing to us that they are heterosexual, and that they hope we accept them for who they really are. Make their hearts pound for once!

    Congratulations HawkEyez!

    I know how frightening it can be because of all of the "worst case scenarios" we work up in our heads prior to actually having the conversation... I was trembling.

    I'm happy to see that your friend was so understanding and kind when you told her, and that she continues to be the same afterwards. Friends like that are hard to come by, I hope you told her how much that means to you.

    Not everyone you come out to will always be so understanding or gracious though, but just remember, in those times even though you may be disappointed, sad, or even heartbroken, that the problem doesn't lie with you.

    I told her if she feels the need to talk to someone else about this she has my approval to talk with this girl she knows

    Everything was great until you gave her permission to talk about it with someone else. What for?? You should have said, "If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them." Her friend doesn't know anything about you or why you are gay. Do YOU go talk to your friend about her heterosexuality or why she prefers particular men? No. You just sent her off to the gossip mill instead.

    You took the words out of my mouth! I couldn't follow the thought process either.

    You are absolutly right, I guesse I wasn't thinking clear when I said it, I think it was because of the fear that it would end up like what happened with her sister.
    I guesse I didn't want her making the same mistake her sister did..

    Thx, for making me see my mistake, I'm going to find out if she told her yet, if not I'll tell her that I'll out myself to the girl when I'm ready..
